These FAQ questions/answers only apply for faculty/staff that work on the Reynolda Campus.
Q1. What is considered on-campus faculty/staff parking?
A. Faculty and staff that work on the Reynolda Campus.
Q2. What is considered off-campus faculty/staff parking?
A. Faculty and staff who work at Bridger Field House, Graylyn, Human Resources (HR),
Reynolda Gardens, Reynolda House, Reynolda Village, University Corporate Center (UCC),
or any other satellite locations are not required to pay for parking a parking, but must have
their vehicles registered with Transportation and Parking Services in order to be issued an
off-campus parking hangtag.
Q3. Will I need to pay for on-campus parking if I am remote for the Fall semester only?
A. Yes. Faculty/Staff parking fees are calculated on current percentage of 0.3% of post-tax
compensation from each regular paycheck and is paid over the course of the year. This fee is
not prorated.
Q4. Will I need to pay for on-campus parking if I only visit campus occasionally or only 2-
3 days per week?
A. Yes. The parking fee provides access to park on campus and is not designed to be a per day
or prorated access pass. There is no daily parking pass option available.
Q5. If I work at Wake Downtown only, do I need to pay for parking?
A. Yes. Wake Downtown is considered an extension of the Reynolda Campus
Permanent Wake Downtown Faculty/Staff
• Pay 0.3% of post-tax compensation through payroll deduction
o No secondary fee to park at IQ
Dual Wake Downtown and WFU Faculty/ Staff
• Pay 0.3% of post-tax compensation through payroll deduction
o No secondary fee to park at IQ
o Can park on the Reynolda Campus and at IQ
Q6. Do I have the option for off-campus or on-campus parking?
A. Only if your primary work location is on the Reynolda Campus. Off-campus parking is free
and is located across Polo Rd.
Q7. Can I trade my on-campus permit for an off-campus permit?
A. Yes. However, if you exchange an on-campus hangtag for an off-campus hangtag, you
cannot exchange again for one-year
Q8. Can I trade my on-campus permit for off-campus mid-year if my classes become
remote?
A. Yes, but you cannot exchange again for an on-campus permit for one-year
Q9. I will be on leave for a year and will not be on campus, do I have to pay for parking?
A. No. You will need to contact Transportation and Parking Services
