Any student who wishes to park a vehicle on a university parking lot any time of day or night–including after 4:00 p.m. weekdays, on weekends, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. weekdays, and during breaks– must register that vehicle with Transportation and Parking Services.

First year student vehicle registration will begin Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. To register your vehicle, visit the WFU Parking Portal. This website is also a great place to find information about parking during certain events like Thanksgiving, Winter Break or Spring Break.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to access the parking portal, you must specifically select your WFU Google account to login. Otherwise, you will not be able to access the portal. All other google users must be logged completely out.

Permit Distribution Information

Permits ordered on or before August 15:

  • When:  Wednesday, August 23rd
  • Pickup Time: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Where: LJVM Coliseum (2825 University Parkway) 

Permits ordered after August 15th, or you did not pick up permits on the above date:

  • When:  August 25th – August 27th
  • Pickup Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Where: LJVM Coliseum (2825 University Parkway) 

Permits were ordered and you did not pick up permits on the above dates:

  • When:  Monday, August 28th, and thereafter
  • Pickup Time: Mon. – Thurs. 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Where: Transportation and Parking Services Office in Alumni Hall. 

Expect delays in distribution. Your Wake Forest ID is required to pick up your permit. Place the parking permit on the rear of your vehicle immediately after picking it up. Permits must be displayed on vehicles no later than Wednesday, August 30.

Vehicle Parking Information:
A map will be enclosed with your parking permit identifying the first-year student parking location. After move-in, students should keep their vehicles on campus and park in general parking lots only until Sunday, August 27. Starting Monday, August 28, 2023,  at 8:00 a.m., all first-year student vehicles will need to be in the first-year lot Z5.
